What would happen if you would get sucked up by a black hole?

where would you go? i mean i know no one really knows but what do you think would happen?

You'd be stretched and ripped apart until you're a nothing but a pile of elementary particles like quarks, leptons and bosons and then strings. One theory is that you might come out of a white hole or end up in some extra dimensions!

Reality you'd be dead, but I love the thought of a parallel universe... and I love the premise of the movie "the one" yeah that would be the gateway into the next life...

As you fell towards the hole, the difference in gravity between your head and feet, which is known as tidal force, would rip you apart. Then the bits of you would be ripped apart. Finally the individual atoms would be ripped apart. Everything would fall into the centre of the "black hole" which is not a hole, just a very concentrated mass. All the bits of you would sit at the centre of the black hole for trillions of years until the hole evaporated.

The only thing for sure that will happen to you (...in spite of what others try to tell you...) is your body would be reduced down to its individual atoms, i.e., totally shredded. As far as other dimensions, coming out at a white hole, etc, nobody really knows.

Quasar pretty much hit it right on.  Although, the string part is still just a theory (I happen to agree with).  The gravitational forces as you near the surface (if you can call it that) would be so disproportionate along the length of your body, you would literally be torn apart down to the subatomic level.

i hate the term black "hole" it's not a hole

it's a collapsed star

ive always wondered this myself. like i think we should build a big machine thats really sturdy like some sort of satelite and throw it through a black hole haha and see what happens.
