Get unemployment as well.  I got fired once because my back went our for a week.  I got unemployment.  I had to fight the employer for it, but I won.

If the injuries occurred because of your negligence, not much.

If the injuries were the company's fault, the employee could probably sue them.

Either way, I expect Workman Compensation would be involved.
