  1. Their job is to put qualified people into the military. If you fail the test then you are not a qualified person - that is on you, not on them. They are not held responsible for YOUR test results.

  2. No commission.  Some service recruiters shoot for a % of passes.  The better you do the better they are on paper.  (Pass rate)

Nothing will happen to the recruiter - he/she will be disappointed they took a risk on you, but that is all.

  3. not a darn thing..and no,they do not get paid for every recruit they put in.  in fact they often end up wasting more time and resources on people who do not enlist for whatever reason than they do on people who do.

  4. Nothing happens to them if you dont do well and no, they don't get a commission.  Now civilian Army Recruiters get a commission if you actually join but not until then.

Now, if you are wondering how the recruiter would treat you if you didnt do well on the ASVAB test my answer would be.....if you barely failed the test the recruiter would be disapointed but would tell you to study more and take it again 30 days later.  If you failed it by more than say 10 points then he or she is going to be a little annoyed that they wasted their time on you and will quickly show you to the door.

  5. lol, we meet again. Nothing will happen to the recruiter if you fail the test. With my family the recruiter was very good about helping him practice after the he took the practice ASVAB, and it worked he did much better on the one he had to take to see if he could get in, so I figure he must of got something if he was being so helpful, but someone told me there are some good recruiters left out there and do help instead of just looking at numbers. good luck

  6. Recruiters (at least army anyway) get their salary as usual plus a small commission for soldiers.  They get this commission when you ship to basic training.  If you fail a test (ASVAB im guessing) it means nothing to them and you mean nothing to them.  Although it is very difficult to fail that to the point of not being infantry and if you do you must have severe mental issues.

  7. Recruiters do not get any commission for enlisting someone into the service.

Recruiters will get Special Duty Pay, which I think is around $375 extra per month.  Along with their Standard Base Pay, they will also receive BAS (Food Allowance), BHA (Housing Allowance) and a VHA (Variable Housing Allowance).

If you don't pass the test, you are just another candidate that is not qualified and they will continue to search for others that will pass the test.

  8. Nothing, they would just have to find more people to take test.
