  1. do you mean vinegar?

  2. Would you like lettuce and cheese with your vinaigrette plaster? A sprinkle of dandelions might go good with it also. I'm not sure why you'd want to create such a mixture?

  3. Wall plaster is mostly sulfate, not carbonate, so :

    not very much.

  4. Brinda,

You have posed questions about 1) vinegar, baking soda and candles, 2) vinegar and egg shells, 3) vinegar and plaster.  Either you have an unnatural fascination with vinegar, or you are asking us to do your homework.

In any event, go get some vinegar, an egg, and some candles and try out your experiments.

In experiment 1)  Leave plenty of room to make a mess.  (We used to build volcanoes out of this stuff.)

Also try this:  Stand the tall candle up, put it in a candle holder, put the candle holder in a large bowl or bucket.  Light the candle, then do the baking soda - vinegar thing at the base of the candle.  What happens to the candle flame?

In experiment 2) Also try this:  Pierce both ends of the egg, blow the egg out into a dish, and put the whole shell into a dish of vinegar.

Have some fun and do the experiments yourself.  It is better than reporting what someone else says will happen.  Besides, what if they told you wrong?

  5. It's VINEGAR, no offense.

Why in the world would you assume to do this?

Given the fact that Vinegar is acidic, even to the point of being a miracle substance, what possible reason might anyone have for combining it with dry "plaster"?

Plaster, or Gypsum in any initial stage is caustic, but inert once set.

    Just my two "sense"
