  1. basicly it means extinction for most living things im afraid.... but what a lot of people dont know ...is there is another one {or two } in the pacific ocean as well

  2. people everywhere on the earth would be effected.  Even people on the other side of the planet will suffer from a nuclear winter type event, ravaging agriculture ALL over the earth.   I would imagine that most in highly populated areas, or areas soley dependent on local agriculture will be hit very hard.

And there will be ash just about everywhere in america, s******g things up a bit.

Just look at it this way, if it happens, there will be 5 billion people without food most likely.

  3. it would depend on the size of the eruption, if it's a big bugger, the US would be covered in ash obviously it will be deeper nearer the volcano you go and it would bring on a nuclear winter, and affect the whole world. There is a great film about it with a docu after called Supervolcano

  4. It would be like the Toba Super Volcano.  Average global temperatures would drop 5 degrees C in less than 2 years.

The ice age is coming, the sun is zooming in

Engines stop running and the wheat is growing thin

A nuclear error, but I have no fear

London is drowning-and I live by the river.....
