What would have happened if neanderthal man had survived the ice age?

i guess there would have been fierce competation between two species of homo and the people would have interbred and their descendents may look very different......

  1. They did...and were probably wiped out by humans either through direct conflict or through competition for resources.  


  2. Neanderthals did survive the Ice age.  They lived in Europe and the Middle East along side man for at least 10 thousand years before they disappeared. Some theorize that man was the cause of their extinction.  They could not have interbred DNA test show that they were not compatible.
