I know that America entered war because of the bombing so any extra information about what they did in ww2 would be really helpful too!

Thanks in advance :)

  1. I truly believe that FDR would have found a way to get us into the war, it is a known fact he preferred somebody to attack us first. So if Pearl never happened Franky would have found another excuse to get the Japanese to attack us.

  2. I'm sure something would have pulled the US into the war, but in any case millions more likely would have died. Even if the US entered the war later, there's no assurance that "the" bombs would have still been dropped which accelerated the end of the war.

  3. A wart with Germany was inevitable at that point anyway.

Remember that in October 1941 the Germans sank the USS Ruben James and damaged another destroyer.

  4. The really scary question is would have germany devolved their a bomb prior to the USA entering the war (and yes they were working on it)

There was no doubt that japan would have attacked the US they needed the oil resources in asia and the british were of no deterrent, my homeland (australia) was very much on our own and only the US pacific fleet were stopping them

but ! it's easy to make judgments after the fact. The sad fact is that it happened the way that it did,

I believe the Japanese (Yamatto) said after pearl harbour " I fear we have awoken a sleeping dragon and filled him with terrible vengeance"
