What would have happened to Europe and Japan, if we pulled out after the war was won?

it seems many liberals want us to leave Iraq after the military campaign is over, or before, but what would happen if we did the same to Europe after WW2...we they see us as allies today...

  1. Absolutely. The Us would not be seen as a reliable ally if we withdrew.


  2. The Iraqi leader has asked us to leave.  Apparently they have things under control.

  3. These are separate situations. Hardly comparable.

  4. wow, analogy is way way off.  Those countries were already developed and had fully functioning governments and infrastructure.
