What would he think about all this?

Last night, I left my ex-boyfriend a letter (left it on his windshield of his car) explaining everything that happened when we broke up, why we did, etc. The "break up" feeling was mutual. We were both fed up with each other. Anyways, I told him my feelings, and how we can make it work. We broke up the day before I sent that letter. He has yet to say something to me. If he didn't want anything to do with me, wouldn't he just tell me "Look...I got your letter but I'm done", or does he probably need time to think about it?

I have not called/texted/e-mail/ anything like that after the break up, and especially after the letter, because I want to give him his space.

I am not an obsessive girl, I just needed to get that weight lifted off my shoulders. I know some people break up when they're angry, which is not a good idea, cause when we're calm again, we're good. We're 16.

If you only left the letter last night then maybe he just needs sometime to digest whatever it said. Boys are complicated, and maybe he is just confused about his feelings. Goodluck to you and your boyfriend!

He probably is wondering why you couldn't tell him the things you wrote to his face. That was kind of immature. And if you could break up with him, and then the next day say you can make it work, he's probably not wanting to go through being hurt again, only to have you change your mind, AGAIN.

Sounds like he might just be trying to protect himself from being hurt again. Next time tell the person to their face how you feel, it's very gradeschool-ish to leave notes.
