What would i do in an audition?

there is an audition for a movie coming up in my city, and i have always wanted a career in acting, but i don't know what i have to do in my audition! can anyone help me out?

Try phoning up the people in charge, or looking it up online.

In most TV/Movie auditions, you just go in and do what is called a cold read. That's when they give you a chunk of the script, and ask you to read for a certain character. You'll stand up, and then you'll just have to act while reading off the script. It can be hard for some people, but if you have an easy time reading and a quick mind, you should be OK.

Anything else they ask you to do is probably dependent on the casting director and the part.
