What would i have to do to work at a record label?!?!?

i would LOVE to work at a record label!!

i would like to be the person that goes out and listens to unsigned bands and brings their cd back to the label to see if they want to sign them

is there a job like that?!?

please please tell me!!

2 yrs left of highschool and still dont know what to do, or where to go!!

Ill be honest. I dont work in the music industry but I can see this as being an ideal job for alot of folk. You wont walkout of an education institution and straight into this. MOst likely you would have been a junior in a record label and worked your way up to get to that position.

My tip to you. Research who the top bosses are at record labels and who A+R folk are(i dont know what that means btw but I know its something to with this). Find out what they did to get where they are and that might assist
