Please be a little open minded when answering this question, i understand that meats and plants have lots of beneficial properties but i truly don't believe we need to eat living things to survive. I have looked everywhere for this information but it seems impossible to find.

  1. Well . . . all food that humans eat is necessarily "organic", meaning that it is carbon-based and comes from living things.  You will not get the nutrition you need by eating anything else.

What you are really looking for, then, is food from living things that were not intentionally harmed or diminished for the purpose of providing that food?  Then I suppose you could eat carrion (flesh from animals that died from other causes, such as roadkill, for example), fruits and nuts that fall off of plants, plants that somehow got uprooted, etc.

    Good luck with that.

  2. It is impossible to do... everything you eat is derived from plants or animals.  The problem is that inorganic material doesn't contain the proper type of energy for your body to use.

  3. Milk should be pretty safe and unfertilized chicken eggs too. Mammalian afterbirth is also not alive in the usual sense either and is high in protein. The Masai bleed and consume the blood of certain cattle.

    Fruits of course.

Many plants can continue to grow and live even as you harvest their leaves or roots as long as you leave them some leaves and roots to replenish their resources.

I'm not sure nuts seeds or grains would fall into this category though as they are plant embryos and eating them might constitute abortion.

It is possible that one day we will be able to produce synthetic foods out of petroleum. Petroleum is an organic substance and we can use it to make plastics. Foods may be a bit more complicated but should be do-able. Some vitamins are synthesized already and some sugars can be made in the lab now. There is also a process to cultivate meat tissues in the laboratory but that isn't very practical right now. I am sure the nutrients they use to produce this meat has a biological source.

  4. you can it fruits like banana of course w/ water you can survive for a long time

  5. Hmmm... You could eat dirt... Oh wait, dirt comes partly from plants and animals which have decomposed.   Hmmm... Well you could eat cooked meat and cooked vegetation, those are not living anymore.

  6. Everything and anything edible is either a plant or animal or comes from plants and animals. You would starve to death.

  7. http://info.means.it

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  8. Maybe it's impossible to find because it is literally impossible.

Anyway fruit is not alive - its a by product.

  9. There are plenty of artifical foods out there.  Sweetners for one.  But the vast majority of foods consumed by humans are indeed dervived from a plant or animal source.

You know if it were not for plant life on planet Earth, we humans would not exist.  Pretty doubtful much of anything else would either.  Sorry, but you cant deny your evolution.
