What would it be called to treat psychological illnesses with spiritual means?

I am looking for the profession that treats psychlogical problems (such as depression, addiction, anxiety ect) through alternative methods- such as meditation and crystals. What this basis be psychology with spiritual methods of treatment? Or would the basis be an alternative approach and if so, what would it be called and where can I obtain more information?

I would call it "the way to go"!!  I truly believe we can heal ourselves.  There are so many alternative methods out there.  I heard Reiki was one of the best.  I, myself, am going thru a healing process from the abuse I've

heaped on myself over the years, and I'm happy to say, that positive thinking and faith have alot to do with it.  It can heal cancer.

Sounds like you might be interested in Ayurveda. It's an East Indian approach physical and spiritual healing. I've heard wonderful things from friends about the Kripalu Center. You may want to check it out.
