What would it cost to convert a three bed house to run purely on solar and wind power?

I haven't done it, but I keep reading about DIY wind generators and DIY solar panels for less than $200 each.  I've blogged about these solutions as well as some of the commercial wind turbines available like the SkyStream 3.7 wind turbine which will cost $12,000-$15,000 to purchase and install.
