Well I found a used ttr 250 that I am thinking about buying but I really want a dual sport bike. What would it cost me to set this bike up for the street? I think I would be more comfortable if it had turn signals and a speedometer. Is it even possible to put a speedometer on a bike like this? After I set it up how do I go about getting a title for it? What should that cost me? I am in Colorado.

  1. the ttr 250's come out with lights, indicators and everything you need for the road, but plenty of people take all of that off.

  2. It would be cheaper and easier to find a Yamaha WR250 which is basically the same bike but the street legal version.

  3. just get a dual sport...

getting a off-road bike street legal (especially used bikes) can cost as much as the bike cost itsself...
