I am looking for the best/cheapest cost to ship some furniture/stuff to Ireland? Specifically have you had any experience shipping stuff overseas? What is the most efficent way of doing this?

  1. I know that a car costs about $1000 and a move through a company that packs all your stuff, puts it into a 24 foot container and unpacks it over there is about $15000

expect something in between depending mostly on the size of the container and your need for convenience

  2. FROM WHERE? It costs per ton per mile. Gimme a clue

  3. Please go to www.polamercargo.com or call  (773)685-8222 ask about price - good luck

  4. Depends where you are shipping from

  5. A huge bottle with a sail.

Sorry!  Wish that I had a better answer, thanks for the 2 pts., and wish that I could stow away in your luggage!!! I'd love to see Ireland! ;-)

  6. a lot will depend on weight an displacement. air is the quickest and for smaller, even if heavy, items it is the least expensive. no special waterproof containers required. for larger items, like furniture you may do well wih the boat. contact local places (united freight, global etc) for more info.
