I think the chances of Jones beating Calzaghe at this moment is 50-50. Aside from fighting a rusty Trinidad, Jones did look good in their fight. Calzaghe against Hopkins looked vulnerable at certain points.

Roy has arrived to sunset strip boulevard a long time ago. He will not defeat Cal man. Cal man will KO Roy in late rounds.

Chances of Roy defeating Calzaghe are slim to none.

Roy Jones Jr. is not the same boxer he once was in his prime days.

joe is smart he could have had these big fight along time ago but there not big figths really  are they not now?. it took him 10 years to take or win a title off a champion in lacy . at the time lacy up and cuming star was big in the U S well alot of talk was made how he is the next star . yeh he looked the part. he had his work outs at a friends gym in manchester leading up to the fight but bob the owner said what do you think? he has seen him for a few days. im just a fan .so i seen his body and said dont fancy joe he will get murderd. bob said

hey joe is a good boxer but i cant call him great for beating hopkins at 43.

i respect jermain taylor alot more he will fight anyone and im from the uk. joe  is only if that the 3rd best fighter to fight out of wales now you get this all the time. calzaghe best british boxer of all time. it make me smile.

i think Roy still has what it takes. he just has to fight a smart fight. I dont think Calzaghe can hurt Roy, cuz Cal man is more of a "slap" boxer.  He throws light flurries that dont connect well. Roy is much more accurate. We'll have to wait and see. My money is on Roy
