  1. Well you obviously didn't read the website carefully, because it answers all your questions... McGill does not look at SATs for applications to undergrad programs, and the website will tell you what US applicants need to submit specifically since we have CEGEP marks here, not high school (you have to have your high school diploma but that's all).  The application process is really clear, just take a look at it more closely.

    Good luck!

  2. The other respondent was incorrect. If you are coming from a US high school, they DO look at your GPA AND your SAT scores. The admission process is a little different for US residents vs. for Quebec or other Canadian residents simply because McGill DOES look at test scores for US high school students. However, McGill does not really care much about your extracurriculars. That doesn't mean you shouldn't do them, but they're not really a big factor in their admission process.

According to McGill, the minimum SAT scores for 2007 were 620 Verbal, 610 Writing, and 560 Math. You also need to do at least two SAT IIs.

As for GPA, you should have a minimum of a 3.3, with higher GPAs required for more competitive programs like the Arts and Science program and Architecture.
