  2. Get experience and start selling yourself to the people who give the scholarships, that's what i did for mine ;-)

  3. hate to break it to you but if you werent a valedictorian, sports. thats all those schools care about.  i kid you not.  they want a good sports team and if you have a good record theyll fund your education.  sorry.  i mean theres other ways, but... a full scholarship is a lot to ask.  check out the site below it helped me get some money

  4. First, it would take being quite poor. The ivy league schools do not have merit scholarships, they have need based financial aid only. This means if you are accepted, they will give you all of the money you need to attend based on your family's income.

    So the only question really is: What does it take to get in? That means being at or near the very top of your class taking your schools hardest classes, a 2200 plus SAT score and exceptional accomplishment in activities outside of the classroom. With all that there's no guarantee, many with those things get in and many do not--there's very little space and many qualified applicants.
