  1. Taxation without representation.

I still have the same pothole on my street for years. The public school systems are still overcrowded. The same people are still on welfare thats been on there since the early 90's late 80's....Corporations get tax cuts (1099 1091), writeoffs, etc. Still the same ole BS the government's been feeding us. Tax the poor and middle class 3X'S (state, federal, sales) when 1099ers and corporations get tax writeoffs with receipts just because the "corporations" give us jobs that the government in turn can tax the workers which the JOB determines the food we eat, the house we live in , the car we drive and the health care we can or cannot afford.

Its not about being American. Its about capitalizing on a capatilistic country.

If you don't believe me look in the back of a one dollar bill. You will see a pyramid (the structure of any business) and the banner on the bottom of the pyramid says.............look it up and you'll understand that WE as Americans need to capitalize.............YA DIG!!!!!!!!

  2. It would be awesome to say I don't want to pay taxes. But then- who would pay for schools to be built, roads to be maintained, cures for cancer to be researched, teachers for public schools and universities... It may suck to not feel like I have a say in where my taxes are spent, but its better than living in a country with no running water and warring tribal leaders who come and steal my goats and my children just because they can. For every complaint I may have about taxes, I remember that it could be worse.

    and in response to ragekab

it would be nice if my boss paid tax and i didnt. but if the employer had to pay tax, but not the employee... where do you think the employer would get the money to pay more taxes? he/she would reduce employee benefits. if you dont get benefits then he/she would reduce employee wages in order to compensate for having to pay taxes.

  3. It would a lot lot better. Many individual will get to "feel" their hard earned money.

I don't believe in the concept of income and estate taxes but I do believe in business tax. I believe that as an employee of a business, your salary shouldn't be taxed anymore because the business you're working for is already taxed. So if your salary is still taxed, it's like double taxation on your part isn't it?

I think the correct and fair way is you should only be taxed if you own a business, if you're working for a business you shouldn't be taxed anymore. Do I make sense?

  4. I like the idea of lower taxes, but I don't think we could survive without some taxation. Like previous responders said....we wouldn't have a national defense, roadway system, and the only schools would be private. What we need to do is cut our government's wasteful spending on programs that are outdated an unresourceful......and we DON'T need to nationalize healthcare(which would greatly raise our taxes...no matter what Hillary and Obama say!!).

  5. truly, taxes are for a reason. we wouldn't get free healthcare and stuff. there's really a reason for everything...

  6. must be a democrat

what about the roads, national defense etc

get out of my country free loader
