  1. Overly drunk/ obnoxious, bad previous experience w/ patron, patron is a notoriously bad tipper, etc.

  2. It really depends on the bartender.

They can be prejudice towards certain "types" of people

  3. If it is extremely busy, yes the bartender will be making snap judgments of a person, and yes he will avoid getting to those people whom they think might tip less.

However, if you are loud and obnoxious; yelling, banging on the bar, snapping, or saying "hey you" are really quick ways to start being ignored too.

The best way to show that you want quick service and that you might be a  good tipper is to FLASH THE CASH!

Have that cash/credit card visibly displayed in your hand when you come to the bar, and know what you want to order, is the FASTEST WAY to get a drink if you aren't a regular or friend of the bartender.

  4. yes..if u are too drunk, they will try to avoid you, and not serve you. if its a female bartender, they are more likely to attened to the male for a better tip, and same for a male bartender.. or if its a customer that comes in alot that they know is going to tip, as to the drunk that cant stand, and they know they arent getting anything......i would say yes they ingore some

  5. personally when i used to bar tend i would tend to ignore the obnoxious drunks that cat called or would sit there and be rude with there ignorant conversation. I usually am a very friendly person , but if you are rude and cat calling me , i will ignore you , for a good 3 to 5 minutes. Aside from that , bartenders are on that hustle tip . We want to make money , so we WONT ignore the source of the money .. hope that helps hunny
