Or...if you're looking for a sit-down restarunt some good choices are applebees or TGIF because they have lunch combos

I wouldn't go to an american fasst food place in Burgos, and I doubt you'd find a Panera or a coldstone ice cream anywhere in Spain....What are you people thinking!?

Try going to the market, pick up some fruit in season, some good local cheese and some ham or a stick of sausage, or maybe some lomo.  Then get a bottle of nice wine, and some bread, and head out to the park or a nice, shady plaza, or, since it's the dead of winter, maybe a sunny spot.
