  1. turtle i have one

    no work to it

  2. A turtle :)

  3. You should try a betta fish, they are very beautiful and easy to take care of. I had alot of them in my kitchen, i put them in a vase with large plant and it looked really cool.

  4. A turtle!!

    or a fish

    o hermit crabs are super easy too

  5. I love turtles or colorful fish

  6. hermit crabs...i got my godson one and he loves them..they re like 5 dollars and really cool

  7. a rat.

    they are perfect.

    just remember to get the hypo allergenic bedding.

    and they are better in pairs so you don't have to give them much attention. =]

  8. How about an ANT FARM? (;

    I used to LOVE watching the ants.

    When Mom gave me some cheese to snack on, I'd crumble it

    & share it with the ants living at the edge of our sidewalk! (;

    I don't know how an ant farm in a tank actually works,

    but it does sound interesting!  You must be able to see many of the underground routes & chambers that they dig...

    "Go to the ant... see its ways and become wise.

    Although it has no commander, officer or ruler,

    it prepares its food even in the summer;

    it has gathered its food supplies even in the harvest." --Proverbs 6:6-8

    "...Instinctively wise... the ants are a people not strong,

    and yet in the summer they prepare their food;" --Proverbs 30:24,25

    If you get an ant farm, be sure that it they can't get out! (;

    Cats & dogs aren't exactly 'low-maintenance'!

  9. roches

  10. A turtle or a hermit crab.

  11. Definitely a pair of rats. They are very interesting pets and are amazing clean. They can be taught tricks. They require very little attention as long as they have a friend. They do enjoy attention and don't bite as much as other types of rodents.

  12. I have had so many pets and all kinds from so may groups. I wish I knew what you meant by low maintenance. Not too expensive or not too demanding of attention, more independent. Or maybe not too demanding on their environment and therefore not needing to much of a controlled environment. Let me know what suites you. Do not necessarily think of a specific animal but what would make a great pet to you and email you and I would love to make some suggestions.

  13. hermit crabs. they are pretty easy to take care of and fun to have around. just be careful when you let them run around that you dont step/sit on them.

  14. Sea Monkeys!  Watch them grow, and when they die, just flush them down the potty!

  15. gerbils

    hamsters

    snakes

    rabbits

    fish

  16. Fish.

  17. well lets see there's:

    hamsters

    rats

    guinea pigs

    mice

    turtles

    hermit crabs

    fish

  18. Seamonkies!!  I think it would be so awesome to get a tank of them one day...I mean, no effort is required at all.

  19. Well, not a fish, because I've wasted more time in the last month trying to keep those little b******s alive than I could've ever imagined when I paid $5 each for them.

    It's not just the fish but keeping the plants alive. I've had to redo the bottom of the tank twice now, once with sand, and now with clay soil, potting soil and sand layers. Turns out if you just fertilize the water you get algae and it turns out algae killer kills plants and fish too!

    Now I have a tank full of plants but no fish.

    But I'm sure you could get by with multicolored epoxy coated "pebbles", a couple goldfish in a bowl and a plastic plant or treasure chest in the middle.

  20. geckos and turtles are interesting but they aren't exactly low maintenance. I guess compared to dogs and cats they are, if thats what  you mean.
