What would make my inboard engine on my boat continue to run hot?

I have replaced the thermostat and the impellar. I have had my water pump checked and it is ok. My boat continues to run hot. What else is there?

  1. If when you replaced the impeller you did not clean the previous impeller's debris out of the cooling system it could cause an overheating problem.
