What would make the icons in YIM suddenly stop working and also my voice stopped working?

They did work and stopped suddenly. I'm not aware of any changes I made to any settings etc.

Hello

Your system may only need simple maintenance. Try these basic items for Internet Explorer, especially 1. & 2.

___1. Increase the browser disk space allotment. On the menu again click 'Tools', click 'Internet Options', click 'General' tab, scroll to browsing history, set 'Disk space usage' at 250MB or 500MB, click 'OK' to finish.

___2. If you're using XP some systems did not ship with Java. For XP and VISTA download and install the latest version at http://www.java.com/

___3. Install the newest Flash Player version, XP and VISTA http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

Well it is probably that your backup hard drive has been over heated I think that you more than likly will see some new changes in the next couple of days as the hard drive cools off...have you checked your power plus are they all in tact...
