  1. I agree the banner at the top is too tall. You don't want people to have to scroll down to see your first paragraph on the page. I would also agree with the alignment issue on the navigation.

I would suggest better use of page titles to describe your services so people can find you easier using a search engine. Every title simply has the name of your company. Snow Plowing for example.

  2. Very functional site. I think the image on top is too big. Most of your images are too big. Don't separate your bullet points with the images as it makes it harder to read.

On your left navigation Column, 'Home' is centered while the rest is left-aligned. Left-align 'Home'. WE NOW CUT GRASS looks weird on the column. Just mention you cut grass on the home page. Merge the CUT GRASS page with your Lawn Care page.

Check this site for design and very nice use of images.

  4. - I would remove the "Services" text, as it is unnecessary.

    - You need some CSS to show that you're actually on a hyperlink. Just changing the mouse cursor (which is good), isn't quite enough, especially for those that may be sight impaired.

    - Make the image at the top a little smaller (about 2/3 the size that it is now). It wasn't very clear that "WE NOW CUT GRASS" was a link, although the other items look like the would be menu items (and they are).

    - When a menu choice is the active one, have it displayed differently (i.e. bolded and possibly slightly larger than the other menu items) so that it stands out a little bit more. The site always has "Home" and "Services" bolded, no matter what page you're on.

    - Don't use the HTML <center>. Try using the CSS "text-align: center;" attribute.

    - Consider adding a shadow effect on the right hand side to break up the center from the background a little more.

    - Set the DOCTYPE to strict (you don't have to, it's just a suggestion)

    - Pass it through the W3C validators. I did really quickly, and there were some errors using the current Transitional DOCTYPE. For example, there wer 85 errors when running it through this W3C validator: http://validator.w3.org/

Overall it's a very clean site with a good color choice.
