I want to run for class president, I'm a well liked person, smart-(All high A's), and support green things, and anti-animal abuse.

What do you think are good characters for a president, and would you elect me?!

Thank you!!!!

:)

  1. Make your candidacy seem historic and monunentous. This works best if you're an "underserved minority" which is mommy and daddy speak for a rich Harvard-educated black person.

For your VP, pay close attention to how their demographic polls in the middle-to-front seats of the classroom. These voters typically will back your candidacy wtih strong contributions.

Don't associate with the kids at the back of the class, unless they want to give you some other kid's lunch money behind the backstop, in which case don't get caught by the yard duty.

  2. Just be nice to everyone, and listen.

  3. Promise free beer and cigaretts at lunch for everyone. You will win by a landslide!

  4. Make sure that you really care about what activities and projects the class officers/student council (I don't know what your school calls it) do. I think it's great that you have strong animal rights and environmental views; just remember that a lot of your responsibilities are within the school and keep that your main focus. You sound like you are well on your way to presidency; best of luck!

  5. I would not vote for you because I am pro-animal abuse.  So, if you start abusing some animals... and I mean really abusing some animals (we're talking belt sanders) then you have my vote.

  6. Yes but then it is a popularity contest

in JR HS I voted for the kid who gave out sees suckers with his name on them

    kids are fickle

get lots of posters with your photo and get out there and talk to everyone

the loosers and geeks and ugly kids and forrign kids vote too

  7. I hate to say it but alot of people don't care! Like usualy people your age will vote for their friends. Or the most popular. Though just don't be stuck up about anyof it!

  8. It's like this.

Running for class president isn't about issues.  It's about how many people know who you are, and it's about how they like you.  Once you have that taken care of, all you have to do is sound reasonably good when speaking publicly.  It's good to be funny, but not goofy and not dorky.  When you put up campaign posters, follow the same rule.  If you can spend a little money on something cool to give out, like candy or something, it'll go a long way.  Good luck.
