Have you ever drifted in the first place?  If you have no clue what you are doing, and providing you are in a car that is capable of a good drift, RWD, then hopefully you both are still around to see what the teacher would do.

He would probably not allow you to drive anymore in the class as you would be construed as a threat to safety.
