  1. Depends. If your school has a Link Crew (many do) then you'll be breaking off into groups and touring the school, maybe playing some of those lame "about me" games in the groups and such. I'm in Link Crew and that's what we're trained to do with the freshman, just to make them feel more comfortable in the new setting.

At my school the freshman also get their schedules and pick up their textbooks before they go home.

  2. learn about your new school...

    i took notes :X

but then again... i was horribly afraid to get lost in my school...

  3. Well, at mine, the incoming freshman class is met by several upperclassmen.  Then the freshmen get split into groups of about seven with two or so upperclassmen per group.  They go around the school and show the new kids around.  Then they go back to the gym or wherever and play games with all the freshman - it's basically a way to meet new people.

  4. Well if your the actually freshman you usually just take a tour of the school, get your class schedule, walk to your classes and that's basically it. It's really not as scary as people make it out to be but it can be kinda awkward because the other kids might not know you and neither do the teachers.

  5. Learn about your new high school.  Probably get a map of the school.  Learn about different extra curricular activities (sports, and clubs) Maybe meet some of the counselors.  Dont be nervous though!!! :)

  6. learn where your classes are, meet other freshmen, learn about clubs and extracurricular activities :)
