Someone who is comfortable in their skin, someone who can view the body for something other than sexual.  Why do people draw horses, tigers etc, because they are all beautiful creatures and we don´t think of s*x when we see them.  It´s not all about s*x.

Money, plus a lot of times the people that model are also artist themselves. If they are doing it for school, they might think it might help there grade. A lot of people do NOT think that there is anything wrong with the naked body. Try a nude beach sometime you might like it.

It is not the money. I can tell you that.

As an artist it gives you a better perspective of what the figure does.

The nude body is an art form which very few appriacate. I am an artist and my wife and I have model for years

It is a nice way of helping the artistic community

I would like to try it one day as a challenge to overcome something fearful. Also a good motivation to get and stay fit.

Oh there are all sorts of reasons...as a challenge, as a way to show off, because they have an appreciation for art, because the human body is beautiful, and as a stepping stone to obtain experience so they can get into more professional modeling.

They don't do it for the money, though...art classes usually have very limited budgets, and to be honest, if models had money, they wouldn't actually be doing any modeling.  Thats why you almost never see Playboy models elsewhere, once they do a shoot.  Playboy pays really well most of the time, and models who collect can usually go on to other more lucrative ventures other than modeling.
