  1. it would be a bad time to get the sack, and redudancy is more likely.

  2. Maybe they will recycle more and use less and the environment will shout "Thank you" not knowing the reasons only the actions.

  3. Instead of big companies taking a small decrease in profits they are going to make some of their dogsbody staff redundant instead.

Maybe only 2 company cars for directors instead of 3.....

My food and energy bills are going to increase even more and my work won't even increase my wages by inflation.

It's gonna be a cold winter in Glasgow this year.......

  4. To the common person on the street recession is decrease in incomes of individuals, slump in corporate profits, low prices of commodities given there is no enough money in circulation and loss of jobs. recession in general terms is negative growth in an economy

  5. Possibility of unemployment although I'd hope this was highly unlikely given my current employment.

Possibility of not being able to afford my mortgage when our fixed rate is up next year.

Possibility of our household bills rising more than we can afford to pay but things would have to get extremely bad for that to happen as we can just cut back on the "luxury" items such as Sky etc which will save us money and we could manage at a push with 1 car.

  6. Higher food bills, higher petrol prices, also gas and electric going through the roof. Also redundancies on the up and up.,

  7. Not a lot.

  8. Well it would mean that the profits of big businesses are declining and they're going apeshit about it and they expect us to do the same, as long as people are sensible with their money and don't depend heavily credit cards and loans they will be fine.

  9. The same amount of my salary that I have to pay more for essential food and household items.
