Question:

What would resemble a yucca plant but in the middle it sprouts a small 1/2 inch trunk with flowers?

it looks like a ycca plant however the leafs are thinner

  1. I have a few  of those plants once a year in the summer they send up a stalk with some nice looking ''bell'' flowers hanging down. I have no idea what it is. But they divide and i keep getting more.


  2. A YUCCA,  the flowers are normal and there are many variety of YUCCA.  By the way YUCCA flowers are eatable. Like squash blossoms.

    Look the plant up on line  it is a fascinating American native.
