What would somebody have to do to be able to just live and work and average job overseas?

How can somebody move from Aus to say Sweden of UK to just live for a year to 6 months?

Go to the Embassy website of the country you are interested in. They should list the requirements for a Work Visa. In places like Sweden, I think you're going to find that the jobs available require you speak the language.

My aunt and uncle moved over to Uk for 6 months a few years ago. They both became part time teacher, and on weekends they travelled to a different country (cheap). I am guessing this is what you want to do..? Maybe just a part time weekday job.. Schools, post office. They also leased an apartment.. Not too big, they never spent much time in it.
