What would someone in the UK have to earn to TAKE HOME £500 a week after deductions?

  1. Before deductions you would have to be on about 650 a week, times 4, thats 2600 a month. Multiply that by twelve and thats £31,200 a year.

  2. That would depend on their tax code. Whats in the minus side of the tax code. Company car, fuel, pension and so on.

  3. Play with www.listentotaxman. There are no tax allowances for kids or dependents these days. Everybody has the same tax allowance of £5435, although there can be restrictions for benefits in employment, and a few other things.
