the junior school that i went to we used to have a morning prayer. and sing a hym.....to god and jesus. everyone had to join in even the muslims. they didnt complain......

i guess its all learning in a way. u learn theoretically but nothing is better then practical....

I think it is way over the top.I'm all for teaching children about multi-cultural issues,getting them to respect different religions and so forth.But to actually make a child PRAY to a different God,is way too much.

I pray to 1 God and 1 God alone.I respect the wishes of others to pray to theirs.I do not preach or push my religion on anyone.

If  the Christian faith & the gospels & teachings of Jesus Christ were being taught, this would not have happened.

The UK, like most western countries has become basically atheist, so this is the main reason things like this are happening.

Western Civilisation has fast become Godless.

As Jesus said,"By their fruit you will know them."

He was talking about true believers & changed lives.

WHAT teacher forced to teach islamic religion. MAN that is wrong, I am a proud muslim and i do respect all religion, it is'nt in our religion to teach forcefully! school teacher shud have asked kid's parent before doing such things.

this is absolutely disgusting!

I went to a c of e secondary school and we had a lot of Muslim pupils as there were no local Muslim schools the Muslim pupils did not have to join in in the prayers they were just expected to be respectfull of the schools beliefs and keep quiet through them, could you image the trouble it would have caused if they had been made to join in!
