What would the U.S be like if We didnt go to war?

Honestly, they'd probably be in a place like Iran by now. The U.S. wouldn't be the U.S. without being in a war.

We would be better off than we are today if we didn't go to war. As a result of this quagmire going on in Iraq, we now have gas prices approaching $4 a gallon, the housing market is tanking, our infrastructure is falling apart, and those who are profiting off of this war are doing very well.

1. People wouldn't have to drive 60 miles or more to get a job. They'd be able to work not far from home.

2. Kids would have musical instruments who can't afford them. They'd be borrowed by state programs. Programs like this got cut in most states.

3. We'd have three trillion dollars to spend on Americans.

4. Iraq, once known as the jewel of the middle east, is now in ruins.

5. Dead soldiers would still be alive, for a lost cause of a war.

The only thing that would be different is the demorats would be bitching about something else other than the war.

I think it would be peaceful and we don't have to worry about our people going to war.They can be spend time with they family and  being home on  the holidays
