Let's say I'm sitting on my front step waiting for a package to come. He pulls up and walks to the front step, would he walk past me, put the package at the door and knock/ring the doorbell? or would he just hand me the package?

  1. The UPS person just do what they choose to do to the best of their ability as a human being. They're not robots, so unless you know them personally, they're not that predictable. If you're sitting in front of the door, he/she will most likely ask you first about the package, and if you deny it, they will go to the doorbell, but if you confirm it they will just give you the package and ask you to sign the thing. I think common sense would tell them to confront you first to make it easier for them as well
