You would generally need to use a cargo company as couriers have weight and size restrictions. Most cargo companies will ship it for you at a reasonable price, especially if you can arrange to get it to their depot.

At 1300lbs, it would have to be secured on a skid.

I would estimate (not including paperwork, duties and custom fees if applicable) that you could get it down there for about $250. You may want to try what I did and place an add in the local newspaper inquiring about a flat rate cargo fee and see if you get any local truckers who would be willing to haul it for you. I had a scooter brought down to Fort Lauderdale Florida a while back for $150. Got there in 3 days.
