I am an American who has heard that the "cost of living" in Ireland is much more than it is in the states -- how many pounds would I need monthly in order to live somewhat simply (food, toiletries, an internet connection)?

  1. I would say roughly, It would be €350-€400 per month.

We dont use pounds in Ireland, we used to use punt, but now we use euros.

  2. €100-150(per week, depending on how many your buying for)- food and toiletries
