  1. Well, it wouldn't be like anything... You need a stimulus receptor to experience a stimulus. Therefore, without people, there would be no weather to experience. Heavy huh? In other words.......... Who cares!

I know, let's ask an educated question like... What would Santa Clause do with out his flying reindeer?

  2. I tend to disagree with the other answers.  I think there is fowl play afoot.  Ever notice how the weatherman never seems to be right anymore?  Well, he/she used to be, a very long time ago, before the government and all it's little secrets started experimenting with all sorts of crazy things.  Who knows what they are shooting off into the atmosphere.  Who knows what jet engine exhaust is doing to the weather, who knows anything anymore?

It's just all wierd these days if you ask me.  All I know is 100 years ago, farmers could predict the weather pretty good and even put it in the Old Famers Almanac.  Nowadays... with all the scientific equipment the weathermen have at their disposal, you'd think they could do at least as well if not better.

  3. Not too much different without the majority of humans.  Without certain humans, yes, the earth would be a lot more natural thanks to no nuclear bombs and fallout, cancerous chemicals, man-made biological warfare strains, genetically modified organisms, etc.  The crazed and selfish elites of the world are the problem, not "the masses."  I'm not going to share the collective blame for what the few did and continue to do.  None of us should.  If we listen and continue to make sacrifices while they make everything worse, then we're enablers.

  4. exactly the same. we are animals and every animal serves a purpose on this earth , we are meant to be here

  5. Who really knows?

  6. While E3 is partly correct, the effect humans have is massive even in medieval times they altered much of Europe turning it from forest to farmland most of the great forests of France, Germany and England are long gone, this took about 1000-1500 years to achieve. Even though Europeans didn't get to the Americas till the 15th century and in large number till the 18th century they have nearly caught up in terms of deforestation and animal extinction. An example of this would be the auto log cutter which in one action can grab a tree at the base cut it off, twist 90deg run it through rollers to rip off all the branches and drop it on a truck in less than 60 sec’s. It can fill a log truck in the time it used to take a lumberjack to cut down one tree.

  7. i agree the would would be the same. Its not global warming its the earth adjusting it self remember this plant is like a bio bacteria.and Dinosaurs still are around but they just adapted look at mosquito's they survived and look at wales and other things like us humans  soon everyone will have every different race in them but if the earth turns out like the movie day after tomorrow were so doomed even if the black hole in outter sapce  reacted

  8. I've wondered this too. I believe it would be exactly the same as it is now. We would still have earthquakes,  drought seasons,  colder than normal winters sometimes, volcanos would still be erupted, oceans would still produce El Nino and La Nina once in a while and it would be a lot quieter.

  9. Global warming would still exist, but it would not be as severe as it is today.  Anthropogenic global warming is a big cause of temperature increase in the atmosphere, but it is not the primary cause.  There are many other contributing factors, such as volcano eruptions and clouds.  There would be no emissions of Carbon dioxide from humans, so those levels of greenhouse gases would be lower, but there would still be high levels of water vapor, which is the most contributing greenhouse gas to global warming.  Overall, the surface temperature and incoming radiation from the sun would still be the same, therefore making the weather similar but not as extreme as it is today.

  10. Humans are added 500 billion metric tons of carbon to the atmosphere since the industrial revloution; this has increased CO2 levels from 280ppm to 380ppm thus contributing to warmer weather, more (stronger) cyclones/hurricanes etc.

We have also substantially changed the landscape - deforestation is the obvious - that has contributed to changes in weather patterns and climate in many ways including increased desertification

Finally, we have contributed to a significant change in animal and plant life - not just deforestation but increased monoculture, large extinctions, preference for domestic animals and plants leading to decreased biodiversity; this gets fairly complex in terms of how this would affect the weather but I'm sure it does...

  11. are you people serious?? Silky and Steven W are apparently the only other people that answerd this ?  that have a logical brain Because this world would absolutely NOT be the same without Humans.  We are ruining this planet with the Co2 we are putting into the air.  do you people know where that garbage goes that you throw out and simply forget about? We Bury It! How many more trees would be on this planet? how many more species of animal? We may be one of the last generation of people that may be able to save the planet and for some reason we remain naive and ignorant.

  12. probably the same but with less acid rain.

  13. There were ice ages before man came along, and there were global warmings in between these ice ages.

I think nothing would be different if man wasn't here now.

  14. Dinosaurs would still be alive so there would be significantly higher amounts of methane.

(I used to like my free range T-Rex eggs over easy)
