I keep thinking of this question because of the weather quite unusual in Asia these days, the global warming either, it scared me sometimes because of you know that the it's real hard to keep balance of this terrible world, so I guess 100 years later any kind of energy will be gone, lots of garbage on earth, most people dead, a sickness war, lots of conflicts............what do you think?

  1. I think you are a experienced and an exagerated predictor...(so sorry 4 the comment)

    Yeah you are so right!

Have you seen the movie ( is it a movie or a tv program? me? no idea!!!) apocalypse..?

According to my proffesor who have seen this movie..,

The first world destruction was the four-month storm that occurs in the time of Noah...

And the prediction for the Second

that the earth will be full of gases because of the carbon dioxide...

    So mAny.......

  2. We'll probably be just fine in a 100 year.

Oh sure, there'll be plenty of problems in the meantime but we'll be able to adapt to the new climate we cause, the question is whether other life will be able to (since human caused global warming is happening at a rate far faster than any previously recorded natural warming we can't rely on the fact that life managed to survive the natural ones), some species will certainly go extinct while others may end up better off.

The changes should happen slowly enough for us humans to get out of the way (i.e. move away from the sea as it rises) although the increase in diseases will hurt (and kill) a lot of people and the general dislocations will be hardest felt among the poor.

  3. In only one hundred years very little will be different. When discussing the earth you have to use "geologic time" and one hundred years is only a "blink of the eye" relatively speaking. even a thousand years is nothing as far as earth science goes. Only thirty or so years ago the big worry was global cooling. the earth is capable of many actions which science can hardly even begin to understand. This is not to discount global warming, cooling or any other theory but only to encourage people to consider that making any conclusion from data collected over such a short time is not necessarily scientifically valid. As for war and sickness they can certainly have a tremendous impact on planet earth.

  4. SURE!  I DONT KNOW HOW ANYBODY WOULD KNOW FOR SURE.

  5. It will be better because people are more aware and lots of earth friendly inventions are comin' up.
