What would the world be like if there's No STD?

Question

would we all be promiscuous (us men anyway) and have s*x free of consequences. (for the fact that men can't get knocked up) and our virginity isn't as special as women anyway... there's really no point to it.

what do you think?

For certain, the pharmaceutical industry would take a major loss resulting from a sharp decline in profits that they make from STD treatments.  Condom manufacturers would also go out of business since women would only need to worry about taking the pill (or whenever male birth control hits the market) to prevent preganancy.  

By the way, even the threat of STDs and unplanned pregnancy aren't enough to sway some people from promiscuous s*x.
