If you were the people who's camper Brian Vickers' tire invaded during the 600 last Sunday, what would you want in return for the tire(since NASCAR wanted it back)? Me I'd ask for an another tire, autographed of course. h**l if it was a Penske,MWR or GEM rim(which are distinct) I'd just take another tire. h**l all I got from that wreck was covered in some black stuff from when he hit the wall in front of us.

  1. It looked like it tore the netting on the trailer a little bit.... h**l no I wouldnt give the tire back... that would be a cool souvenir

  2. I would've put it in the camper, unless they had a warrant, that's illegal search and seizure, isn't it? I'd make a fuss.

Or just give me tickets to any and every race for a family of 4, including accommodations, food, drinks, souvenirs, etc.. for the rest of my life, either way.

  3. A check to fix my camper, and to replace the beer it knocked over, plus autographs from all the team drivers. Maybe that would work.

  4. Heck fall out on the ground and act like it hit you ,,, or your kid was in the tent. Then claim you got injured.... Milk it real well and say "Can I at least keep the tire?" while you are  talking to your lawyer.

Also if you noticed they didn't even check to see if anyone was in the tent. They got the tire and took off.

And then make them cut a check. Pay you to take that tire from them. LOL

  5. I WOULD NOT GIVE IT BACK nascar HAVE TO ARREST ME FIRST..... I WARE ORANGE "IM FAST" LOL

  6. That infield pass has a butt-load of disclaimers and you are basically there at your own risk to property and self. As far as keeping the tire, the track owns the property and arbitrates everything that happens on its premises with the support of local law enforcement.

Having said that nothing as flimsy as a mass produced pit pass disclaimer will save them from a civil suit.

  7. i'd settle for race and pit passes for life.  i'm not that big a brian vickers fan though - one of rowdy's tires might be a different story.

  8. I would raise a ruckus for something in exchange. I mean how often does that happen. But I did hear Vickers say in his interview afterward that he was sure that person would be getting something. Personally I would ask for another pit pass. Or maybe a ride along on track.

  9. Matty Kenseth lol

  10. They'd have to come up with something good for me to give it back!! Or they definitely wouldn't get it!!!LOL

  11. You guys don't know-I had Richard Petty autograph the sidewall of a tire off his #43 in the 1980's after a race-I've hauled that stupid thing moving back and forth across the country. It's in storage now. They are not go-cart size. My kids still yell at me because I had them lug it one mile to our car if it comes up.
