What would this bird eat?

I asked a question about identifying a bird I found but have found out now what it is so my question now is what does a red capped parrot from western australia eat? his wings have been clipped so he is most likely someones lost pet but untill someone claims him I need to know what food he likes

first off if it is a wild parrot it is probably a king parrot which looks allot like a red capped parrot. if it is a wild bird it may be hard to get it to eat. birds get stressed out easily. but King Parrots feed on seeds, fruit, berries, nuts, nectar, blossoms, leaf buds, and insects and their larvae. Seeds of eucalypts, angophoras and acacias make up a major proportion of the diet, and these are procured mostly in the trees and shrubs. if you cant get to eat it might be best just to let it go. good luck with your new friend.

if its wings are clipped it not a wild parrot i would try some cooked rice pasta + mixed veggies the kind you buy frozen the can stuff has to much salt no chocolate or avocados if your going to keep it go to apet store and buy some pellet +seed mix
