  1. Probably sanitation or janitorial crew.  The may not work for each airline but a service company that is contracted to clean planes.  I've seen them in action.  Part of the job is they have to go through each seat pocket to check for anything left behind by the last passengers* rearrange the contents, take out the garbage and vacuum all the seats and the floor.  .

*In this day and age you can imagine how important that is.

    .

  2. Clean Up Crew? or Ground Crew

  3. I would call them "The cleaning crew that goes into a plane after the flight has landed"

  4. "Bob"

  5. fuselage cleaners?

  6. Most airline companies call them the cleaning crew.  One company calls them "air custodians."  There are other cutsies like that.

  7. Flight Janitors.

  8. no specific name..

they are either ground staff or maintenance personnel of the airlines

  9. Plane janitor

  10. They're simply called aircraft cleaners.

They were given a basic safety training on aircraft also, the not to do and not to touch or like reporting if something went wrong like  denting the fuselage with the step ladder they use. Or cleaning rags that were drop inside the ram air inlet or apu inlet. they even know what chemical fluid to keep the landing gear strut chrome shiny..

  11. Cleaners?

  12. We called them groomers.  The process of getting the interior ready for the next flight is called grooming

  13. scrubs?

  14. There is no specific title for a job like that. They all come under Aircraft Ground Support (AGS). Different airlines have different names for them. From Air janitors, Cleaners, Cleanliness officers to just Non Cabin Crew.

If they are hired by the Airport maintenance department(some big airports have maintenance contracts with many airlines), they are just called ground support. Hope that answers your question.

  15. Employed.
