What would this run at the 1/4 mile?

I plan on racing my brother at the 1/4 mile tonight to prove, my truck is faster then his car (insted of racing on the street) its both of our's first time at the drag strip. I have a 1996 F-150 XLT standered cab, 4x4, with a 5.0L V8. True dual exhaust, ram air intake, 31" tires on stock gears, and running 93octane with the timing adjusted.

He has a bone stock 2002 Kia optima V6.

What do you think i'll run at the drag strip and do you think i can beat him or not? They are both automatic trans.

i couldnt find any info on your specific vehicles but I did find drag slips for a 07 kia optima a 06 kia optima and a 04 ford f150,

the times between the 06 optima and the f150 were almost identical  17.00@82.00MPH on the ford and 17.01@83.1MPH on the 06 optima with the 07 optima running only slightly faster than either of them with a time of 16.910 83.220MPH

but that was with all the vehicles being bone stock, with 31 inch tires your acceleration may be affected. please update your question with the actual times and speeds, (also you have to take into consideration reaction time, so in order to see who ran faster you would want to subtract your reaction times from your final time so all you have is the time from 0ft to 1320ft. good luck and try to not break anything. and please keep us updated!

edit* although his speedo goes to 150 his car is probably electronically limited to 100-115 and then it wont pull itself any faster. I have a 01 grand am gt and its limited to 115 or so, I figured up what its top speed would be in overdrive @ 6k redline and it would hypothetically run 196ish but would probably blow apart long before that LOL

You have 302 4x4 31 inch tires stock will turn 17.'s or slower and your brother will be in the 18"s.my dodge 5.4L ram 1500 quad cab 2 wheel drive turns 17.70 stock hoped this helped..and don't forget reaction time will play into your ET also,and the weather...
