What would this tell you (prank calling)?

If a guy asked for your number and never called for a real conversation only prank called you then said it wasn't him that was prank calling a lot and if it really was him what would this tell you ? does this mean he likes you? and why would this person not call you for a real conversation?

No it means that he is immature and a waste of your time. If he is only prank calling you that is childish. Find someone who is a little more mature and wants to talk to you.
