Question

you are 14 years old, and have s*x with your boyfriend, and u use a condom but the condom breaks. then 2 weeks later you find out you are pregnant

would u consider abortion?

i know a lot people are going to say that they would have the baby and give it to adoption, but a 14 year old child can get killed having a baby

oh, and by the way this didnt happen to me, i just wanna know wat people think :)

14 year olds ought to know better and also you can not find out your pregnant 2 weeks later they need to keep the baby because they need to take responsabilty

I think the 14 year old is an idiot for having s*x. And if she was willing to have s*x, then she hould have been willing to get pregnant. It comes with the territory. And NO she shouldnt get an abortion. She shouldnt kill an innocent life because of a dumb *** decision SHE made. And btw 14 year olds don't get killed from having babies. They have as much a chance as a 20 or 30 year old of dying from pregnancy.

If I were the 14 year old, I would get an abortion if it was still the first trimester. If I were the 14 year old's parents, that is what I would want my daughter to do. If I were the boyfriend, I would butt out because it is the girl and her parents decision. The girl's parents would be supporting her and the baby so they are major decision makers in this scenario. btw, condoms almost NEVER break. As a parent, I would have my daughter tested for STD's if she told me this story.

I  lived this exactly. And I had the baby she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Her name is Brooke and she is 9 months old i had her 4 months before i turned 14 and i had s*x because i was at camp and it was very tempting obviously i kept thee baby i didn't die and i bet you probably are pregnant! The 14 year old is dumb for having s*x if she can't deal with the consequences. And no dummy 14 year olds can't die from having a baby. People did it all the time until their life expectancy grew beyond 30. You have more of a chance from dying from an abortion.

how can a 14 year old get killed having a baby. Many small women give birth everyday. Once that egg gets feterlized the body goes in a make body ready to have baby mode. So that is no reason to have an abortion. I personally think adoption is an excellent choice. I wouldn't advise my 14 yr. to have an abortion to many emotional problems and I don't believe in it

and to the first comment no child is an idiot at 14 so much is going on in your life, it is not impossible to be talk out your panties like my mom said. So watch what you say cause you may have children grandchildren and they may come home pregnant at12

I honestly don't think there is one standard answer to this question. Regardless of age, every woman has a right to decide whether to keep her baby, abort her baby or consider adoption. Incidentally; a 14 year old is no more likely to die in childbirth than any other woman.

I think that a child at 14 who can choose to have s*x can also handle being pregnant and going to school full-time. Then they should get a job to pay for the child care though out the day. So pretty much take care of there own child!!! I took care of my daughter on my own and I was only 17 when she was born. My childhood neighbor had twins at 14. Meaning she was pregnant at 13 so I think with today's world they should keep it. Look at it like this in like our great grandmothers time they were married and had probably already had a child or one on the way at 14.
