What would u do if ur son or daughter told u he/she was g*y?

im only 17 so im not asking from experience i am just wondering what u would do

I would love and support my child no matter what because they can make their own decisions. There's nothing wrong with being g*y so I don't know why so many parents disagree with it. No matter what I would love my child and I wouldn't treat him/her any differently

I would support my child. Whether one believes homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle or not, a parent should love their child unconditionally.

If a parent didn't agree morally with their sexuality, they do not have to let that get in the way of loving and accepting their child.

That being said, it can be a shock to any parent. It can take parents time to work through the mixed emotions. PFLAG is an organization for parents who have children in the GLTBQ community, and can be an excellent way to find support as a parent works through the experience.
