What would u think?

Question

I'm a very shy, quiet person - especially around my coworkers. When I'm teaching, I'm not shy - it's just when I'm not teaching that I revert back. There are a few coworkers, though, who have been good friends to me and have helped me come out of my shell a little bit. They're always there to listen or give advice and ask for nothing in return. I've had bad luck when it comes to friends, especially with them taking advantage of my good nature. Even tho I'm still shy around my coworkers, it has meant a lot to me that they're always so willing to listen or offer advice without asking for anything in return.

Since we're off for the summer, I was thinking of writing to them. So, if you got a card from me and I expressed what I wrote above, what would u think?

I would feel very appreciative.  I write my friends letters expressing my feelings too and I think it has only brought us closer and allowed me to talk to them better in person.  Good luck

I would be honored to know that I helped improve someone else's life. I might even shed a few tears. Go do it, it'll probably make their day :)

It would mean a lot for me. You say you're shy and all, so it would mean so much to hear what you have to say, since it's probably pretty rare and thus it must be something of value. Good luck.
